As the festival is celebrated with Udaya Tithi, therefore it is going to be celebrated on the 14th of February, 2023. Sita Ashtami will fall in the Anuradha Nakshatra. 

Procedure Of Ritualistic Worship Of The Deities

Sita Ashtami holds great significance for married women and after bathing early in the morning one should start the rituals by worshiping Lord Ganesha and Maa Durga. Offer yellow flowers, yellow clothes and other makeup accessories to Mata Sita. Recite the Aarti of Mata Sita after making the offerings. After the Aarti is complete one should recite the Mantra “Shree Jaanki Rambhaya Namah ” 108 times. Items made of jaggery should be offered to Mata Sita and Lord Rama and these items should be consumed first when you sit down to have your first meal of the day in the evening.
