This is from the Treta Yuga, Maryada Purushottam After Ravana kidnapped his wife Sita, Lord Ram traveled for Lanka with the monkey army to fight Ravana; however, the sea blocked the road. It was a wide sea filled with hazardous monsters capable of harming Ram ji’s army. Shri Ram, Lord Vishnu’s incarnation, was in human form and sought to address the problem in that form only. When Shri Ram asked his brother Lakshman how to cross the ocean, Lakshman ji replied, “O Lord! Vakdalabhya Munivar lives half a yojana away and will undoubtedly have a solution to this problem. Lord Ram approached Munivar, bowed respectfully, and explained his situation.
