  • Wake up early in the morning, take a bath and worship by wearing clothes of red colour on the day of Shashti.
  • In worship, use coconut, Kalash, Gangajal, Kalava, Roli, rice, honey, incense sticks, Dhoop, Naivedya, Ghee, etc. 
  • Roll the coconut offered in the worship with a piece of cloth (Chunni) and  place it on Kalash.
  • Apply Roli, Haldi and Sindoor to Maa Katyayani.
  • Offer flowers to Maa Katyayani by reciting the Mantra and pray for the well being of your family. Must keep in mind to recite this Mantra for hundred and eight times and offer flowers.
