• Wake up in Brahma Muhurta and take a bath. Mix Ganga Jal in your bathing water which should be of normal temperature.
• Sprinkle Ganga Jal all over the house.
• Consecrate the ShivlIng with water and Pachamrit ( Milk, Curd, Honey, Sugar, and Ganga Jal). Offer Belpatra, Samitra, Durva, Kush, Lotus, Neelkamal, JawaPhool kaner and Shami Patra to Shivlinga.
• Chant ‘ Om Namah shivaya’ at least 108 times and meditate about Lord Shiva.

• Wake up in the Brahma Muhurta, take a bath in Holy river Ganga or Yamuna if possible. If not, mix Ganga jal in plain water and take a bath and visit a temple.
