Because Holika Dahan will be performed on the night of March 17th, the correct date to celebrate Holi is Friday, March 18th, which is the Pratipada date of the Chaitra month Krishna Paksha. The Chaitra month Pratipada date will begin at 12:49 p.m. on March 18. The calculation of each day begins on the Udayatithi, according to the Hindu calendar. As a result, Pratipada’s sunrise will be on March 19th, and it will finish at 11.37 a.m. on the same day.

As a result, Holi will be celebrated on March 19 in various locations. However, in locations where full moon bathing is valued more, Holi will be celebrated on March 18th.
