As per the calculation of Hindu Panchang, this week is going to commence from Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha i.e. October 19 and end on Navami Tithi of the same Paksha i.e. October 25. Taking a closer look at it, people will be seen venerating different incarnations of Maa Durga during this week. 

The very first day of this week i.e. October 19, Monday, is the third day of Navratri festival and dedicated to Maa Chandraghanta. The worship of Maa Kushmanda, the fourth incarnation of Maa Durga, will be performed on October 20, Tuesday. Then, Maa Skanda will be worshipped on the fifth day of Navratri, i.e on October 21, Wednesday. Further, the worship of Maa Katyayani will be held on October 22, Thursday; on the sixth day of Navratri. 

After this, Maa Kalratri will be worshipped on October 23, Friday followed by the worship of Maa Mahagauri and Durga Mahanavami and Durga Mahashtami on October 24, Saturday. Maa Siddhidatri will be worshipped on October 25, Sunday. On the same day, people will celebrate Dussehra and Navratri.
