smṛtibhraṃśād buddhināśo buddhināśātpraṇaśyati ।।63।।

From anger arises infatuation; from infatuation, confusion of memory; from confusion of memory, loss of reason; and from loss of reason one goes to complete ruin. (63)

He is not saying to Arjuna, “Come now, you are the best in this business of war; let us get on with it and you will win”. —  No, he just guides him and says two outcomes are possible and it does not matter which one is matrialised. The essence of it is to respond as best as we can to the situation life has thrown at us. “Stop complaining or getting stressed about it and deal with it” is what this message wants to convey!
