  • Take a bath an hour before the sunset and wear clean clothes.
  • Later, perform the puja with proper rituals in the auspicious muhurat.
  • Worship the Shivling by bathing it with milk, curd, ghee, honey, and gangajal. 
  • Put sandalwood on the Shivling and offer Lord Shiva’s favorite flowers of Belpatra, Madar, cannabis, etc. 
  • Lastly, recite the aarti of Lord Shiva and ask for his blessings.

Take These Steps On The Shani Pradosh Vrat 2022

On the day of Shani Pradosh, there are some steps that you can take in order to get rid of all the problems in your life. Let us read about what steps to take on this day:

  • For child attainment-

If you wish to have a child, offer a garland made of 11 flowers and 11 leaves of Belpatra to a Shivling on the day of Shani Pradosh. Along with this, if your child is suffering from a disease for a long time, take a stone and color it black and keep it in the roots of the Ficus tree (Peepal) on this day. Later, on a Saturday, light a lamp of mustard oil there and chant the Shani mantra. 

  • For financial issues-

A day before Shani Pradosh, take a bowl of mustard oil and keep it near or under your bed. The next morning, use the same oil to cook pakoras in it and feed them to a black dog. Use the remaining oil to make parathas or put it on some chapatis and feed it to a black cow or a black dog.

  • For a better married life-

If you are facing problems with your partner and wish for a smoother marital life, put a kumkum tilak on the forehead of black cow and feed it two Boondi Laddu. You will have a harmonious relationship with your partner.
