Kajari Teej (2 September 2023): Every year on Tritiya Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Bhado month, Hindus celebrate the festival of Kajari Teej. This celebration, which usually takes place in July or August, holds special significance for married women such as Hariyali Teej and Hartalika. Married women observe the Kajari Teej fast on this day to hope for a happy and peaceful married life.

Sankashti Chaturthi (03 September 2023): Every month, on Krishna Chaturthi and Shukla Paksha, the Sankashti Chaturthi fast dedicated to Lord Ganesha is held with full rites. According to myth, Ganesha removes all the worries and sorrows of the devotee who fasts on Sankashti Chaturthi with a pure heart. This fast is also ideal for receiving the blessings of Vighnaharta Ganesha.

Janmashtami (07 September 2023): Janmashtami is one of the most important festivals in Sanatan Dharma, and devotees of Shri Krishna look forward to it all year. According to mythical sources, Lord Krishna was born in the Mathura prison on Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada as the eighth child of Devaki and Vasudev. Janmashtami commemorates the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

Aja Ekadashi (10 September 2023): We all know that Lord Vishnu adores Ekadashi Tithi, which occurs on the eleventh day of each month’s Shukla and Krishna Paksha. Aja Ekadashi is one of the 24 Ekadashis that occur each year. Aja Ekadashi fast is observed on the Ekadashi that falls in the Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month, according to the Panchang. It is claimed that fasting on this Ekadashi cleanses the devotee of all sins and leads to virtue, comparable to the Ashwamedha Yagya.

Pradosh Vrat  (12 September 2023): Pradosh Vrat is observed in Hinduism on the Trayodashi Tithi of each month, which occurs twice a month. This fast is devoted to Lord Shankar and is observed on the Trayodashi date of Shukla and Krishna Paksha. When Pradosh Vrat falls on a Monday, it is known as Som Pradosh Vrat, and when it falls on a Tuesday, it is known as Bhaum Pradosh. Pradosh Vrat is known as Shani Pradosh Vrat when it falls on a Saturday.

Masik Shivratri (13 September 2023): The monthly Shivratri fast, like the Pradosh Vrat, is observed to please Mahadev and earn his blessings. The Hindu calendar has the monthly Shivratri fast performed on the Chaturdashi date of the Krishna Paksha of each month. According to religious traditions, the monthly Shivratri fast is beneficial for the eradication of all kinds of challenges and problems that arise in life.

Bhadrapada Amavasya (14 September 2023): Every month’s Amavasya Tithi is considered significant in Hinduism for philanthropy, bathing, ancestor peace, and so on. However, because Bhadrapada month is known as the month of devotion to Shri Krishna, the significance of Bhadrapada Amavasya, which falls in this month, grows exponentially. Kushgrahani Amavasya and Bhado Amavasya are other names for Bhadrapada Amavasya. On this day, worshippers wear green grass.

Kanya Sankranti (17 September 2023): In astrology, the Sun God is the king of nine planets, yet in Sanatan Dharma, it is regarded as a deity. Every month, the Sun God changes signs and is known as Sankranti. In this case, on the day of Kanya Sankranti, September 17, 2023, the Sun will transit from Leo to Virgo. The Sun’s zodiac change is regarded as auspicious for all types of religious service, philanthropy, and so on.

Vishwakarma Puja (17 September 2023): Vishwakarma Puja is extremely important for Hindus since it is devoted to Lord Vishwakarma, the world’s first craftsman. He is regarded as Lord Brahma’s son. Vishwakarma Puja is only performed on Kanya Sankranti.

Hartalika Teej (18 September 2023): Hartalika Teej, like Kajari Teej, will take place in September. Hartalika Teej is commemorated with immense faith and devotion every year on Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. On this day, worshiping Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati is considered auspicious. Married women and unmarried girls both fast on Hartalika Teej. This fast, however, is considered hard because it is observed without water. Fasting on Hartalika Teej brings good fortune to lucky women.

Ganesh Chaturthi (19 September 2023): Ganesh Chaturthi is observed across the country on the Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. Lord Ganesha was born on the Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha of Bhado, according to the Vedas, hence Ganesh Chaturthi is observed as Ganesha’s birth anniversary. Lord Ganesha’s devotees look forward to Ganesh Chaturthi all year because Lord Ganesha visits his devotees on earth for 10 days and then goes to his abode after Ganesh Visarjan, promising to return the following year.

Radha Ashtami (23 September 2023): Every year on the eighth day of Shukla Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada, Radha Ashtami is commemorated. On this day, it is especially important to adore Radha ji. On the occasion of Radha Ashtami, there is an unique radiance in Vrindavan, Mathura, and Barsana. Let us remind you that Radha Ashtami falls fifteen days after Krishna Janmashtami. Women fast on this day to ensure the happiness and tranquility of their families.

Anant Chaturdashi (28 September 2023): Anant Chaturdashi is a significant Hindu festival dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the universe. On this day, the infinite form of Vishnu, known as Anant Chaudas, is adored. According to the Panchang, Anant Chaturdashi is held every year on the Chaturdashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada, and there is a law to tie Anant Sutra on this occasion.

Bhadrapada Purnima (29 September 2023): Purnima Tithi is a particularly sacred day in Sanatan Dharma that occurs once a month, hence there are 12 Purnima Tithis in a year. One of these is Bhadrapada Purnima, on which the Satyanarayan form of Lord Vishnu is worshiped.
