Kamika Ekadashi Fast Katha

It is said that in ancient times, there used to be a Thakur in a village. One day, Thakur got into a heated argument with a Brahmin, and in a fit of anger, murdered him. In his stable sense of mind, the feeling of repentance took over him but other Brahmins did not allow him to participate in the final rites. As a result, Thakur lived under the heavy burden of Brahma Hatya or Killing a Brahmin.

Then the shocked and troubled Thakur requested a Sage to save him from being a part of this mortal sin.
