Kamika Ekadashi Fast Katha
It is said that in ancient times, there used to be a Thakur in a village. One day, Thakur got into a heated argument with a Brahmin, and in a fit of anger, murdered him. In his stable sense of mind, the feeling of repentance took over him but other Brahmins did not allow him to participate in the final rites. As a result, Thakur lived under the heavy burden of Brahma Hatya or Killing a Brahmin.
Then the shocked and troubled Thakur requested a Sage to save him from being a part of this mortal sin. Then that Sage told Thakur about Kamika Ekadashi and advised him to carry out all the rituals and duties accordingly. Listening to the Muni, Thakur followed his guidelines and performed the rituals. On that very same night, the Lord himself came in his dreams, freed him from his sin and offered him forgiveness.
