Reason Behind Holika Dahan Celebration
Holika Dahan, a Hindu festival, celebrates the triumph of good over evil. According to tradition, on this day, Holika, the sister of demon king Hiranyakashyap, tried to burn Prahlad in the fire, but Lord Vishnu saved Prahlad and burned Holika to ashes in the fire.
