This festival of Baisakhi is also celebrated as the beginning of the new year. On this day, people worship the grains and celebrate their homecoming after harvesting, and then they seek blessings from God and thank him wholeheartedly. The story behind it is interesting. It is said that on the day of Baisakhi, there is Vishkha constellation in the sky. Due to the Vishakha Nakshatra Purnima, this month is known as Baisakhi. Besides this, Baisakhi is celebrated on 13 or 14 April every year. The reason behind it is that this festival is celebrated when the Sun enters the first sign of the zodiac circle, i.e. Aries, and this transit of the Sun in Aries takes place on 13 or 14 April every year.
