Importance Of Amalaki Ekadashi 2023
According to Sanatan religion, the Amalaki Ekadashi is considered to be one of the most significant Ekadashis of all. On this Ekadashi Lord Vishnu is worshiped along with the Amla tree. Lord Vishnu is also offered Amla, and it is said that by worshiping him on this day, one receives fruit equivalent to the gifts of a thousand cows. Salvation is also achieved after death when one does worship and observes fast on this day. All sins get eradicated as well. As we already know that this Ekadashi is also called Rangbhari Ekadashi, so according to religious beliefs, on this day, Lord Shiva brought Goddess Parvati to Kashi. According to ancient legends, Lord Brahma was born from the navel of Lord Vishnu, and he enunciated his desire to know himself. In order to get the answers to all his questions, he started ardently worshiping Lord Vishnu. After worshiping for many years, Lord Vishnu got elated by Lord Brahma’s devotion and then Lord Vishnu appeared in front of Lord Brahma.
