From Kamika Ekadashi, i.e. from 24 July, Vriddhi Yoga will commence from early morning and will remain till 02:02 pm. After this, Dhruv Yoga will begin. On the same day, Dwipushkar Yoga will also be formed. This Yoga will begin on 24 July, at 10:00 pm and will last till 25 July, 05:38 am. Besides this, Rohini Nakshatra will be present on Kamika Ekadashi till 10:00 pm. After this, Mrigashira Nakshatra will begin. Because Vriddhi Yoga will start early in the morning, devotees are suggested to worship Lord Vishnu in the morning itself.
Kamika Ekadashi 2022: Puja Vidhi
- Wake up early in the morning on the day of Kamika Ekadashi.
- Take a bath and wear clean clothes.
- If possible, wear yellow colored clothes as it will be more favorable.
- Then sit in front of Lord Vishnu’s idol or portrait and take the oath of fasting.
- Thereafter, offer fruits, flowers, milk, sesame, Panchamrit, etc, to Lord Vishnu.
- On this day, especially offer Basil leaves to God.
- On the day of fasting, do Bhajan and Kirtan of Lord Vishnu.
- Recite Vishnu Shahtranama.
- Next day, feed the Brahmin and give them Dakshina.
