“ॐ अस्य श्रीसौभाग्य-हनुमत-महा मंत्रस्य श्रीराम चंद्र ऋषिः, अति – जगती छन्दः, श्रीहनुमान-परमात्मा रुद्रो देवता, हनुमान-इति बीजमं, वायुर्देवता इति शक्तिः, अञ्जनीसुत इति कीलकमं, श्री हनुमत- प्रसाद -सिद्धयर्थे-जपे विनियोगः”
“oṃ asya śrīsaubhāgya-hanumata-mahā maṃtrasya śrīrāma caṃdra ṛṣiḥ, ati – jagatī chandaḥ, śrīhanumāna-paramātmā rudro devatā, hanumāna-iti bījamaṃ, vāyurdevatā iti śaktiḥ, añjanīsuta iti kīlakamaṃ, śrī hanumata- prasāda -siddhayarthe-jape viniyogaḥ”
After this, keep the water on a stool and pour in an empty vessel. After this, begin with the ritual of Karanyasa.
Karanyas: Begin with the Karanyas ritual while chanting the mantras listed down below.
ॐ हं हनुमत अंगुष्ठाभ्यां नमः। / oṃ haṃ hanumata aṃguṣṭhābhyāṃ namaḥ।
ॐ वं वायुदेवतायै तर्जनीभ्यां नमः। / oṃ vaṃ vāyudevatāyai tarjanībhyāṃ namaḥ।
ॐ अं अञ्जनीसुताय मध्यमाभ्यां नमः। / oṃ aṃ añjanīsutāya madhyamābhyāṃ namaḥ।
ॐ रं रामदूताय अनामिकाभ्यां नमः। / oṃ raṃ rāmadūtāya anāmikābhyāṃ namaḥ।
ॐ हं हनुमते कनिष्ठिकाभ्यां नमः। / oṃ haṃ hanumate kaniṣṭhikābhyāṃ namaḥ।
ॐ रुद्रमूर्तये कर -तल – कर पृष्ठभ्यां नमः। / oṃ rudramūrtaye kara -tala – kara pṛṣṭhabhyāṃ namaḥ।
ह्रदयादिन्यासः / hradayādinyāsaḥ
ॐ हं हनुमत ह्रदयाय नमः। / oṃ haṃ hanumata hradayāya namaḥ।
ॐ वं वायुदेवतायै शिरसे स्वाहा। / oṃ vaṃ vāyudevatāyai śirase svāhā।
ॐ अं अञ्जनीसुताय शिखायै वषट। / oṃ aṃ añjanīsutāya śikhāyai vaṣaṭa।
ॐ रं रामदूताय कवचाय हुं। / oṃ raṃ rāmadūtāya kavacāya huṃ।
ॐ हं हनुमते नेत्र- त्रयाय वौषट। / oṃ haṃ hanumate netra- trayāya vauṣaṭa।
ॐ रं रुद्रमूर्तये अस्त्राय फट। / oṃ raṃ rudramūrtaye astrāya phaṭa।
Take some flowers and chant the mantra:
“पञ्च- वक्त्रं महा भीमं त्रि -पञ्च- नयनैर्युतम। बाहुभिर्दशभिः प्रोक्तं सर्व – कामार्थ – सिद्धदम। पूर्वं च वानरं प्रोक्तं कोटि-सूर्य-सम-प्रभम। दंष्ट्रा – कराल – वंदनं भ्रुकुटी – कुटिलेश्वरम। अत्युग्र – तेजसं वर्यं भीषणं भय – नाशनम। पवनाद्री – प्रशमनं सर्व – भूत – निकृन्तनम। उत्तरे सूकरं वक्त्रं कृष्णदीप्तिं नभो-निभम। पाताल – निधि – भेत्तारं ज्वर -रोग- निकृन्तनम। कुर्वन संतोषणं तेषां सर्व – शत्रु – हरं परम”
“pañca- vaktraṃ mahā bhīmaṃ tri -pañca- nayanairyutama। bāhubhirdaśabhiḥ proktaṃ sarva – kāmārtha – siddhadama। pūrvaṃ ca vānaraṃ proktaṃ koṭi-sūrya-sama-prabhama। daṃṣṭrā – karāla – vaṃdanaṃ bhrukuṭī – kuṭileśvarama। atyugra – tejasaṃ varyaṃ bhīṣaṇaṃ bhaya – nāśanama। pavanādrī – praśamanaṃ sarva – bhūta – nikṛntanama। uttare sūkaraṃ vaktraṃ kṛṣṇadīptiṃ nabho-nibhama। pātāla – nidhi – bhettāraṃ jvara -roga- nikṛntanama। kurvana saṃtoṣaṇaṃ teṣāṃ sarva – śatru – haraṃ parama”

After chanting the mantras, offer the flowers to Lord Hanuman’s idol present on the pedestal (Chowki). Now, take note of the mantras given below and start with the ritual by chanting them.
- First of all, apply Sandalwood or roli on Lord Hanuman’s idol and start chanting this mantra: “ॐ हं हनुमते नमः। गन्धं समर्पयामि / oṃ haṃ hanumate namaḥ। gandhaṃ samarpayāmi”.
- Now, offer him flowers and chant this mantra: “ॐ वं वायुसुताय नमः। पुष्पं समर्पयामि। / oṃ vaṃ vāyusutāya namaḥ। puṣpaṃ samarpayāmi।”.
- Chant this mantra while making Lord Hanuman’s idol face the Sun: “ॐ अं अंजनीसुताय नमः। धूपम आघ्रापयामि। / oṃ aṃ aṃjanīsutāya namaḥ। dhūpama āghrāpayāmi।”
- With the lamp facing towards Lord Hanuman, chant: “ॐ रं रामदूताय नमः। दीपं दर्शयामि। / oṃ raṃ rāmadūtāya namaḥ। dīpaṃ darśayāmi।”
- At last, offer the oblation or Prasad and chant: “ॐ रुं रुद्रमूर्तये नमः। नैवेद्यं निवेदयामि। / oṃ ruṃ rudramūrtaye namaḥ। naivedyaṃ nivedayāmi।”
After worshipping Lord Hanuman in these five particular ways, fold your hands and offer your complete devotion while chanting the mantras given below before chanting the main mantras.
“ॐ राम दूताय अंजनी वायु सुताय महा बलाय सीता शोक दुःख निवारणाय लंकोपदहनाय बाहु बल प्रचण्डाय फाल्गुन सखाय कोलाहल ब्रह्माण्ड विश्व रूपाय सप्त समुद्र नीर लंघनाय पिङ्गं नयनायामित विक्र्माय सूर्य बिम्ब फल सेविताय दृष्टि निरालंकृताय संजीव संजीवित लक्ष्मणाङ्गद सुग्रीव महाकपि सैन्य प्राण निर्वाहकाय दश कण्ठ विध्वंसन कारण सेविताय श्रीसीता समेत श्रीरामचन्द्र मूर्त्तये स्वाहा”।।
“oṃ rāma dūtāya aṃjanī vāyu sutāya mahā balāya sītā śoka duḥkha nivāraṇāya laṃkopadahanāya bāhu bala pracaṇḍāya phālguna sakhāya kolāhala brahmāṇḍa viśva rūpāya sapta samudra nīra laṃghanāya piṅgaṃ nayanāyāmita vikrmāya sūrya bimba phala sevitāya dṛṣṭi nirālaṃkṛtāya saṃjīva saṃjīvita lakṣmaṇāṅgada sugrīva mahākapi sainya prāṇa nirvāhakāya daśa kaṇṭha vidhvaṃsana kāraṇa sevitāya śrīsītā sameta śrīrāmacandra mūrttaye svāhā”।।
After this, with a pure and devoted mind, chant Hanumat Prayog Mantra. During this time, “ॐ हनुमन वायुदैवताय अञ्जनासुत रामदूत हनुमन रुद्रमूर्त्तये स्वाहा। / oṃ hanumana vāyudaivatāya añjanāsuta rāmadūta hanumana rudramūrttaye svāhā।” should be chanted 108 times. If you wish, you can also chant the mantra more than 108 times. Now, chant the Mala mantra thrice. The observation of Saubhagya Hanumat Mahamantra should be conducted for a period of 40 days. ādāya tenaiva dadāha laṅkāṃ namāmi taṃ prāñjalirāñjaneyama।।”
