Determinants Of The Timing Of Death As Per Astrology

  1. If we take a look at the Vimshotari Dasha that was running for him was Jupiter Mahadasha-Sun Antardasha-Rahu Pratiantardasha-Saturn Sookshma Dasha. These are the prime astrological planets that were running on that day.
  2. Primary Determinants, the maraka houses (2nd and 7th), the house lords and their transits
  3. Planetary placements and the planetary transits
  4. The 8th house, its lord, aspects on the house and the lord
  5. The 3rd house and its lord
  6. The 6th house and its lord.
  7. Rahu-Ketu axis and their transits and conjunctions.

Now, if we look closely at Dr. Manmohan Singh’s horoscope, he was running in  the Jupiter-Sun-Rahu-Saturn Dasha pattern

Jupiter is the Lagna lord and well placed in the 9th house but is in the Rahu-Ketu axis. Jupiter currently is transiting in his 6th house (disease and enemies) since May 2024. Saturn which is transiting in the 3rd house is the 3rd lord itself, but Saturn is the lord of the 2nd house as well and hence becomes a maraka. 3rd house is 12th from the 2nd house, therefore it shows loss of life.

Mercury, which is the 7th house lord and the 2nd maraka, is currently transiting in the 12th house in Scorpio zodiac sign, again it shows loss of life. The 3rd house lord Saturn in transit is in conjunction with his natal Rahu, that too worked against him and ultimately led to his demise. A point to note is that his 8th house lord Moon is well placed in the 8th house, which bestowed long life upon him. It is noteworthy that Rahu and Saturn are amongst the primary planets in his current Dasha pattern. When the 3rd, 2nd and the 7th house along with the 12th house or the 8th house gets activated then it is said that life will definitely come to an end and in Dr. Manmohan Singh’s case most of the points match. Hence these planetary transits and conjunctions led to the end of an era for India.
