The festival of Chaitra Navratri is dedicated to Goddess Durga. During this period, the nine forms of Maa Durga are worshipped. The nine days of Navratri are considered the most auspicious and powerful to worship Maa Durga. Kalash Sthapna is done on the first day of Navratri, and at the end of Navratri (some people on the eighth day and some on the ninth day) perform the Kanya Puja.

  • Aindra Yoga is being formed on 2nd April. Aindra Yoga will remain till 8:22 am, and after that Vaidhriti Yoga will be formed.
  • Apart from this, a Yoga called Dhata is also being formed on this day. All these Yogas are considered very auspicious, and their formation on the occasion of Navratri this year will make Navratri even more auspicious and fruitful.

  • On this day, people decorate Gudi in the morning after taking bath.
