According to ancient legends, when the atrocities of the demons on the Earth became unbearable, and they even began tormenting the Gods, the deities prayed to Goddess Durga for help. Among the demons, there was a particularly powerful one named Raktabeej. His superpower was that from every single drop of blood that fell from his body on the earth, a new demon would be born. Because of this, the gods were unable to defeat him.
