Things to be kept in Mind while Offering Flowers to the Deities

  • Do not offer flowers to god that have been picked up from the ground.
  • One must never offer stolen flowers to god.
  • Offer a full-bloomed flower and avoid offering buds. However, Champa and lotus buds are exceptions in this scenario.
  • Refrain from plucking flowers after dusk. Pay respect to the plant while plucking the flowers.
  • Do not offer withered flowers and always offer fresh ones.
