When Is Chaturmas 2024?
Every year, on the Ekadashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month, is observed as the Chaturmas. This time, it will begin on 17th July 2024. On the same day, Devshayani Ekadashi will be observed too. Ekadashi Tithi will begin on 16th July, at 08:35 in the night and it will end on 17th July 2024 at 09:04 in the night.
It is believed that on Devshayani Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu goes to Yoga Nidra and after this, from Sawan month, Lord Shiva handles the responsibilities of the world.
Chaturmas ends after four months on Devuthani Ekadashi. This time, Devuthani Ekadashi will end on 14th November.
