  • On this particular day, one should offer marigold flowers to Lord Vishnu and one should also worship Tulsi. After lighting a lamp in front of Tulsi, the worshiper must make 11 circumambulations (Parikrama). 
  • On the day of Ekadashi, one must wake up in the morning and after completing the morning routine, the devotee must observe the fast. The fast must only be concluded after giving charity to needy people or a Brahmin. 
  • Throughout the day one must worship Lord Vishnu by reciting pious hymns and should listen to religious discourses as well. In the Bhog ritual, the worshiper should offer fruits, Besan Halwa, and Kesar Kher to Lord Vishnu.
  •  To increase the reverence and blessings of this holy day, after offering worship to Lord Vishnu, one should in the evening offer his/her worship to the Peepal Tree (Ficus Religiosa).
